Anna Paquin

Anna Paquin was born in Winnipeg and raised in Wellington. She began her acting career as Flora McGrath in The romantic-drama film The Piano. Paquin is a native of Canada and actress from New Zealand. Born in Winnipeg but brought up in Wellington, she had her first appearance as an actor in The Piano. Paquin played a minor role in the 1997 TV movie adaption to Carson McCullers' novel The Member of the Wedding. She also played the Queen of Spain in Steven Spielberg's Amistad (2007). She played teenagers in Hurlyburly (1998) She's All That (1999) as well as A Walk on the Moon (1999) as well as the character of a groupie Polexia Aphrodisa in Almost Famous (2000).
